Yes, if you haven’t guessed it already, I’m a purist and I can’t stand the horror that ensues in the name and guise of experimentation. Because why ruin something that is already great? Right! Wrong; apparently the street vendors of the world have undertaken the task of cooking up a storm on social media after dishing out weird and borderline bizarre recipes including monstrosities like maggi milkshake, butter chicken golgappe and the last one that hurt the sweet-lover in me – rasgulla chaat.

Winemaker Greg Brickey will be showcasing Majuscule wines, along with a four-course dinner from chef Eduardo Alcayaga at Mutiny Wine Room, 1124 Usener. Majuscule wines are from Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and are small lot wines, typically less than 100 cases per wine.

The wining and dining begins at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $120 per person and reservations may be made by phone at 832-618-1233.
