Igataki, from Shimogamo in Chandler, Arizona took best honors including a $5,000 hard cash prize along with the Waterford Crystal Trophy offered by GOYA Foods as he won the nationwide Goya Foodstuff Chef of Cooks Award judged by an esteemed chef and culinary educated foods media panel.
The Saturday night soiree capped off a week entire of wine and foodstuff activities in The Woodlands marking the return of Wine & Food items Week in it’s comprehensive format.
