Gov. Pritzker signs legislation to increase access to healthy food options in schools

ILLINOIS (KFVS) – Governor JB Pritzker signed a new legislation enabling college districts to further more partnerships with foods vendors that prioritize the health and fitness of college students.

In accordance to the governor’s place of work, Household Bill 4813 says food stuff company providers that participate in any of the USDA’s child nourishment courses are exempt from agreement bidding prerequisites.
